Until Death Do Us Part

By Lana

Death do us part is an annoying statement
Because when my body is disintegrating, my soul will still desire to be with yours
I've made myself aware of how heaven will only match to my life on Earth with you
Pure joy, utter euphoria
The scribble of my pen cannot correctly convey my oath to you
How looking at you will continue to calm my being
And every evil moment will always leave me craving you.
The thought of you will still cause me feeling comfort, love, and safety
You ask me if I do
But, I have since the moment we met
Our souls combining in our conversations and jokes
I have appreciated and adored you for an eternity
I plan on doing so forever
I promise you my spirit will find you in the next life where we can be together again
Death will not part me from you
You ask me if I do
Well, I do
