Untitled

If beauty was created by a mold
And people were formed to a rule,
Then uniqueness would crumble and crack
under the pressure to look like the next fool.
At what cost?
If value was always in dollars
And worth was always their pretty face,
Then how much would love charge us,
And how would skin-deep leaders govern our space?
At what cost?
What point are we willing to give up
the people we truly are?
Is it our hearts and our personalities
Or some plastic that takes us far?
At what cost?
