Untitled

I watched as you changed,
Transformed,
Metamorphosed
Into someone I had never met before.
Your hair color had faded,
Your eyes that once fully held the world,
Now held nothing but shards.
Your lips paper thin,
Kissed with the shadow
Of what once was a smile.
Your hands cold as ice,
Bare, wispy, and brittle to the bone.
You were no longer,
Me,
As I knew and loved.
You were pieces of
Me.
As I hated and despised.
