From a mile away ,I saw you coming.
I knew we would collide.
Knowing you were heading
toward me and did not move aside.

Instead, I began to make my way toward you.
I let go.
Not caring that I had a flu.
I gasped as I watched you grow.

I wanted to be hidden
Underneath your water umbrella.
So, I guided my surfboard into the forbidden.
Feeling like Cinderella.

I knew then that my surfboard
Was my ford.
