Entrenched in a desolate dark forest, I was lost.
Wandering and wandering aimlessly among the sharp shadows of a trail.
Glimmers of blinding light danced off the dawn's fresh dew,
teasing of hope.
Velvet vines from the pines above swept me
I could lay lost forever.
My solidarity suddenly snapped
as my hand was met with yours
and scents of sweet warm honey soaked us with solace.
You led me to the serene
Inspiring me with this phenomenon of pure patience.
Never had I felt such love.
Never had I felt such strength.
Never had I seen my soul reflect in another's half.
Dusk dared to emerge and the moon mirrored our embrace.
Finding myself next to you
I am no longer lost.
