Untold Truth

By L.S.R

My tears are silent
But, my fears scream,
I want to fly
But, my wings are broken,
Happiness is a lie,
The truth can never be spoken.
People are really ghosts
In a world that's lost hope,
Violent times wake hosts of destruction,
Safety becomes a coping illusion.
Thoughts of these plagues my mind
Living turns unkind,
I have a confession to make
Sleepwalking down spiral stairs into depression,
No will at all
Jumping, I will fall,
Because no one cared to save me.

This Poems Story

I used as a little kid to believe that the world was good but then, I realized what was hidden under the light. How people you care about die and the world is filled with chaos. Even though there is good still in the world its hard to see it, especially when everything isn't just black or white. It's gray too.
