Unwanted And Unknown

Today I give my life up,
To be forever in solitude
Words unspoken.
Only silence penetrates my mind,
Images of you spin around me,
Like a carousal in a desolate park.
My love goes unwanted,
And unknown.
Forever in my mind,
Your soul never parts from mine.
The fire of delight burns bright in my eyes;
The warmth of you,
And your sweet fragrance,
But, as quickly as the flame is ignited,
It's extinguished,
Much like my hopes;
For my love goes unwanted,
And unknown.
