UPON A LOVER’S EVE

Upon one time I felt a loss
To meet my mother's only only hope
I beat my breast and heart and soul
And strove along to find my love

My quivery mind so burnt a skill
To travel forth to Filial land
How long to find a lover's hand?
To truly break my mother's seal

I wandered forth a day or two
My map has stopped me in a lead
With kind exhaustion much I bleed
To find that lady, bold and truth

May the silent night be still
And show less distress in my quest
I shan't go back until I rest
To truly break my mother's seal

The day has broken as I woke
To step my feet in Gilial land
May hope and kindness bless my hand
To find undoubted love of force

I found delight in one poor door
And kind redress so near my goal
I beat my breast and heart and soul
And entered in to find my love

My quivery mind was much at will
My fears were broken by a maid
Which much outweighs my bones today
To truly break my mother's seal

This pretty maid is kind to me
And showed me where her mistress went
One day in Gilial much I learnt
How good a sight their love can be

The shore is lovely where I stood
Like shinning pebbles in a blaze
A lady broke my silent face
The mistress whom I'm here at shore

My quivery mind did burnt the skill
To meet my mother's only hope
I kissed my love and heart and soul
And finally broke my mother's seal.
