Vacation

My suitcase was very heavy for I didn’t pack too light.
The dim morning sky is just starting to get light.
I slip on my jacket as a cool summer breeze blows by
We wave to our pets saying goodbye.
I can not wait to look at the sea
It is simply all I want to see
We take off for the beach around eight
After we stopped at a diner and ate
Are you sure you are going right
I believe you are suppose to take a right
As we approached the beach the sky got so blue
And you could smell the ocean as the wind blew
Wake up kids we are here
That is what I have been waiting to hear.
