Valentine’s Day Wedding

The patron of lovers
Only spoke in February
The church bells rang
Another marriage
Another lost girl’s dream
“I have yet to find God, I fear,”
She told the Priest
“My child, you’re kidding?”
He stopped the wedding
Right in the tracks of time
“This cannot happen”
God demanded
“Go free, my child,”
God said,
And she left the alter
Immediately after,
She fell down to her knees
To tell God,
“Thank you”
Then came the tears
Smearing the dirt all over her white dress
She looked down,
And she thought,
In life,
Out of everything to fear,
May I never fear God’s will
Then she got up and went on to change the World
