Valley of the Lilies

Strolling down the valley of the lilies,
My mind starts to wander,
As the sun overcomes the scene.
I drifted away,
Without a thought or care.
It's the vision of Easter, of great glory divine,
With the angel so bright and fair.
Saying: "He is not here, but risen,"
And, "why do you stand and stare?"
Yes, it is He that is alive,
Pointing at the grave so bare.
Death could not hold Him, the chains could not bind Him,
He lives in our hearts today.
Now, traveling back on the path of the lilies,
Let us ponder and declare: that Jesus is eternal,
And. everlasting to everlasting is His way.
