Violence

why I say
why so much violence

I am a black boy living
in a black neighborhood

Wondering

when I can die

guns know I'm scared
when every i see one it
seem as if it is smiling at me

every once and i while I here
boom over and over again

Boom,Boom,Boom

I feel as if I am one of those
one out of ten boy who can change

change the way my race lives
change the way we are treated

all of this on the shoulder of 40-50 boys

it like trying to win a war with 12 men and
there not prepared but I am
