Violet Valentine

She's a violet valentine
Powdery, faithful, and tough
Shiny, dressed, and cute
Even in a night so rough

The birds chirp for her but become envious
And stand still even though they want to fly
But watching her dance so unimpeded
Makes the salty ocean as blue as the sky

She's got color, fullness, and flare
Magic and morality and dare
She's as innocent as her lovely little sigh
And still real as the days go by

And by
