I was blessed tonight with a view to your soul
A simple glimpse in another world
the kind forgiveness of your skies
the sweet realization of my dreams
With a few words you struck that simple chord
And into my mind you will creep
Until I see your face again
On another plane
In another time
Will I still be the same?

How many times have I played this game?
Here without my pieces, so ill equip but without shame
I let my walls down
and let them all in
But its you I keep
When the sun comes up again

I will never be the same
Your long black hair, that smile
A kind embrace of your words that echoes with me
Too blue to deny
