Wait a second, just in case


And she saw the diary in her eyes, until she blinked,
as if turning a page for me to have another glimpse,
and when she saw me staring, smiling delightfully,
she then closed her eyelids for good, and that was
the end of my wondering curiosity, until the next
day, where we came across each other once more,
leaving the beach holding hands and feeling grand.
