You promised you will come back next Sunday,
I race to church to find you,
I search every inch, but you were nowhere to be found.
When they told me you would never be back,
I didn't understand, I was just a kid.
You were like my superman.
Just like superman everyone has his weakness,
I guess yours was to fight.
You never cared,
you always taught me to never give up.
As you waved to me and pulled off,
I never thought that I would never see you again.
I didn't think you could do any wrong,
I will defend you until I die,
But it's kind of hard when you wouldn't show your face.
I know you are hurting,
I know you lost everything.
Your past will always be there,
and if you keep running, it will get harder to face-
know that.
