Waiting Game

Waking up every morning
Seems like nothing to show
Empty spot next to my pillow
Where love used to grow

Replaced just by silence
No more smiles and laughter
Seems like nothing to do
Wish time would go faster

Wanting someone to cherish
And have someone to hold
A lover to hold hands with
With whom to grow old

Want a love that is real
One truthful and will last
Nothing that was rushed
Like others in the past

What the hell should I do
Should I just sit and wait
For love to come along
And push further my fate
