Walk on By

There I am, crushed and alone
A plea for help in my eye.
But they just look right through me,
Before they walk on by.

I call out for help, life has overwhelmed this guy.
But nobody can hear me, they just walk on by.

All hope gone, alone, naught left to do but cry.
Yet nary a soul takes notice, as they walk on by.

I've found a tall building, Caution roof is very high.
No need to heed sign, I'll just walk on by.
Goodbye, I think, falling through the sky.
As my body crashes down one last person walks on by.
