Walk with Me

Before you decide who you think I am, take this walk with me.
As I've learned to crawl, though I haven't seen it all.
I have walked my fair dream.
I have lost those I've loved and brought fourth a new life.
I have lost my freedom though I have freed my mind.
I have tried and failed, yet I strive for success.
Walk with me and I will show you my steps.
As I have ran until I've lost my breath.
I know pain from heartbreak and regret from my mistakes.
I forgive those who betray and appreciate those who care.
As I have come from nothing and yet I feel like something.
I have seen so many things that ponder the mind.
If you would walk with me to share, I wouldn't mind.
Through my walk I have learned a many things.
As to listen close to those who have a voice.
As there is more to something than you think.
Walk with me and I will learn from you as I learn from others.
May this walk we take soon lead to others.
