Walking in the Forest

Walking in the forest
One is captured by the silence
The whisper of the wind
Winding it's way through the branches
The smell of the trees
Blending with the odors of fresh air
All the senses awaken to peace
Walking in the forest
The soul is awakened
As the moments in the trees pass with ease

The forest floor plush beneath the feet
The crack of a branch to break the silence for a moment
The awareness of Nature's calls
The squirrel squealing, the woodpecker tapping
The stellar jay calling in the distance, the jayco chirping
Walking in the forest
The soul is awakened
As the moments in the trees pass with ease
