Wall of Insecurities
When the warmth of happiness slowly starts to fade
the icy coldness of doubt can imprison you like a slave.
Leaving you feeling broken beyond repair
like a cancer patient losing their first lock of hair.
When the chill of night brings tear to your sight
remember there's still a resilient fight.
That's lurking deep in us all
waiting for us to climb that wall.
The wall of insecurities that we build to hide
so that no one can see whats really inside.
Masquerading as a survivor when your still in the storm
Not knowing your blocking your blessings to be your ultimate form.
