Wander

When the night comes
I walk down the streets
The city awakes
Drunk and noisy

They smile and live
Oblivious and careless
Their laughs fill the silence
Of my empty world

When I walk down the streets
They fascinate me
They trust and love each other
I watch them
From my lonely world

The moon greets me
Pale embrace
The chilly night on my arms
Morpheus escapes my grasp

I walk without a purpose
I wander again
Night won't give me an answer
The last train disappears
But I walk

My mind is a vast ocean
The universe in my eyes
The moon disappears
I walk

Until the night comes back
I walk
Still seeking my answers
I walk
Until the dawn rises
I walk
Until the night comes back
