Wander to a better place,
Where the night so meets the day,
Where the sun so greets the moon,
Engulfed in darkness far too soon,

Wander to a safer place,
Where painful memories drift far away,
Where dawn and dusk converge in one,
And the silent battle has since been won,

Wander to a quieter place,
Where antique books are held closed with lace,
Where flowers bloom and prayers die,
Amongst the clouds and changeless sky,

Wander to a familiar place,
Between the depths of peace and rage,
Where the arms of crepuscule hold you tight,
Dreaming of dreams you've dreamt of that fated night
