War and Lives

War Lives . . .

Life bursts into being
Amidst chaos and order.
Its fire burns as a beacon
Guiding them on their path.
Their lives are the light of order
Purifying the darkness of chaos.
Their lives the bullets of The Great War,
Their deaths the casualties of the battle.
Their souls are the roots of chaos,
Balancing to order over time,
Being reborn repeatedly
Until the balance is complete.
