Warring Guns of Patriots

Guns blazing in the battle fields
We have forgotten feelings for focus
Our allies' burn in the fiery flames
Dying happily as patriots
Never forget where you are he said
A bullet pierced his unwearied head
Acting quickly I took cover
Damn it came out of my mouth
He was left for dead

Lying on the battlefield
We absorb the sun's ray
Drugged on the motive to kill or be killed
For those who make it back
They'll have an experience they'll never forget
Those crying for their loved ones
Praying with lethal wounds to see them one last time
As tears fell down across their faces
They had only God in mind to save them
Blood soils the field with those we once knew
As bombs crash down severing all we ever knew
This sight may have been our final appeal
