Waste Not Breath

Waste not breath
Graves from help
Pain we’ve felt
Weighs down back

Prayers are stacked
Life is cactus
Death is absence
God’s gap ends

Tongues are wagging
Lungs for language?
Mouth for sandwich?
The mute’s advantage

Wage of sin
Is transformation’s transportation
Trance for days
In breath’s embraces
