Watching the World Burn

Here I sit, surrounded by family and friends
The awesome story of Maria sorrowfully ends
She doesn't recognize us anymore
We found her crying on the floor
She cries out in her sleep
Her insanity has reached its peak
What we want is for her to be at peace
We beg the doctors to pull the plug
We look on as she takes her final breath
I guess God's will will be done
And angels sing on of her death
