Watering Dead Flowers

She goes out into the garden everyday
To water the flowers
But the flowers died a long time ago
They wilt in the sun
Where they once flourished
So she sets up a tent
surrounding the garden
Bringing her entire home
into darkness
The wind blows them away
When they once stood strong
So she brings the flowers inside
And she never feels the wind again
One day she finally comes to realize
That the flowers have past
But it's too late to plant fresh flowers
For as she watered the dead flowers
She drowned the soil
