Wave of Death

Immense, depending where I hit
Just as quick as I arrive, I am gone.

A kick to the knees,
I knock you down.
Making you wish I never came.

Sometimes a warning,
But you cannot prepare.
One way or another, I will come.

Maybe not today,
Maybe not tomorrow,
But one day.

Try to run,
I will catch up.
In the end,
You must face me.

I am inevitable.
I am both the end,
And the beginning.

Don't Fret,
For there will always be,
Remnants of the past.
