With eyes upon the sea, it comes closer, let it be.

The waves crash against the sand, while still holding it in your hand.

Salt and sand, coarse though it feels. It only reminds you of what is real.

Back and forth the water goes, letting emotions overflow.

With a heart and heavy sigh, you begin to realize the forever sky.

On going and ever free. Never knowing what will be.

Letting go of what is, is the only way to be.

What you can touch is never enough. The sky turns, weather gets rough.

But in an instant the sky clears. And your forever reminded of what you hold so dear.
