We Are The Seasons
Summer brings us warmth and times of joy and fun,
Swimming through the creeks, exposing our bodies to the sun.
Fall is a time of change, the pace beings to slow,
We bundle up and hide from the strong winds that blow.
Winter is a time of stillness, of quiet through out the land,
of bare trees, sleeping bears, and frozen feet and hands.
With Spring, we see new birth, cleansed of all past sin,
Life pushes buds from the earth, the cycle beings again.
The only thing that changes is us, the people who come and go,
From the first green sprout of grass, to the last of Winter's snow.
How we live and how we be, is truly all that matters in the end.
Who we finally become and if we've been a real true friend.
Life begins and death will follow, as rise will the moon and sun.
So take this season and make it count, smile and have lots of fun.
