We Really Are

How insignificant we really are,
Puffing our chest against the importance of the sun.
What minuscule meaning is given to our earthly life,
In comparison to the harmony of trillions of stars
suspended in air,
Responsible for their own gravity.
The simplest terms we define in confusion and complexity.
Babble and ramble on!
I remember the scent of tomorrows rain.
Shuffle to and fro!
I am practicing breathing in daydreams.
All we own is our smiles and tears.
All we need is to believe.
In ourselves.
To remain calm.
Like the ocean,
Deep and great yet reflective.
Powerful yet refreshing.
Deadly yet full with life.
