Weight

Tightness and harsh weight
press into the depths of my chest.
Leading to unfathomable pain,
which cannot be measured nor explained.
I feel no opportunity for salvation
nor for hope, for the pressure to alleviate.
The idea that sits in my mind -
this isn't worth it.
Strength can't get me through.
The pull on my soul is much too strong.
The weight is simply too heavy.
