We’ll Meet Again, My Angel
I know you're in heaven and your're looking down.
But still you're in my heart and you're all around.
Whatever I do I'll always make smile.
Never make you frown, or make you cry,
I'll always make you proud
You are the strongest woman I know
With such a gental loving soul.
You lit up our lives, always stood by our sides.
You are so brave and so wise, always gave the right advise
When I didn't know what to do,
I could always count on you.
You were a fighter who faught and never gave up.
You always gave it your all, even when times where rough.
You were an angel in this life, now you're free you can fly.
Spread your wings and soar high, our angel of light.
We morn and remember of those times we spent together
I will never forget them, I'll cherish those memories forever.
You'll always be my best friend, one day we will meet again.
When it is my end, and my soul will ascend.
But for now rest in peace until then.

This Poems Story
Writing poems allows me to express myself. I try to write in a way so other people can relate. When I write about a situation, I look at whatever I'm going through in a different perspective. When life storms on us, a rainbow is soon to follow. I dedicate this poem to Darlene Maki. She is more than a grandma to me. She's my mom and my best friend. This poem helps keep me strong when I think of her passing. She'll forever reside in my heart. I love you Mamoo, fly in peace my angel!
