What a Friend I Have Made in You

It is wider than the ocean. It is deeper than the sea.
It is better than the best friendship can be.
It is amazing how our friendship did grow. It started out very low.
Now it stretches from the center of our earth's case,
Far, far up into outer space.
What a friend I have made in you.
When I am bored you always know what to do.
What a friend I have made in you.
It sparkles like a tiny ruby,
Like we were always meant to be.
It glimmers like the deepest sapphire.
Our friendship can go deeper and higher!
It shimmers like a diamond in the snow.
I'm sure our friendship will always glow and grow.
What a friend I have made in you.
Friends like us, there are few.
What a friend I have made in you.
It is better than the best gift. Our friendship you cannot shift.
It is better than a billion. It is worth more than a trillion.
It is purer than the purest gold. This friendship can never get old.
In one thousand years, I am sure there will not be a friendship
like this.
Without you, happiness I would be sure to miss.
Because, we really care! That is what makes this friendship so rare.
I don't know what I would do without the friend I have made in you.
