What I Saw

The question I have for you
Is surely nothing new
Day after day I ask of you
To accept me for who I am as I do for you
To love my flaws and perfections
to try to understand my self-conception
but to what luck I have I can see
that you don't want anything to do with me
reject after reject is all I will be
nobody wants any part of me
to be surrounded as far as the eye can see
yet to feel like no body values me
to feel pathetic and unworthy is all I can see down the road
to what should be
a brighter future is surely not for me
in this magic we call destiny
