What If

What if instead of torture,
We showed hope?
What if instead of conformity,
We showed the glory?

The glory of a life lived
Without greed,
Without hate.

What is black?
What is white?
To describe color,
To a blind man.

What if war were gone?
What if we joined together?
There would be no pain,
There would be no hunger.

Put all the bombs aside,
Shake hands.
Put all the guns aside,
Love one another.
