What if we never speak up
We never raise our voices
There are no candles in times of darkness to light up
And no weight to our choices?
What if the only things deemed upon
are presumptuous laws
And show complete disregard to our flaws?
What if the world danced to the tunes
of unprincipled men
And conservative hymns are played now and again?
Would if be a place? Would if be a world?
With so many inflections of judgmental souls
Or, would if be a never ending whirl
With prejudices leaders wanting everything
under their own control?
