What if I told you?

What if I told you that I can’t take this anymore?
All the words we’ve said have left me wanting no more.
They say sticks and stone may break my bones and words will never hurt me.
We both know that isn’t true.
Words will always hurt, sometimes they even crush your soul.
So pull your fist from my chest I give you permission leave your hole.
What if told you I was through.
Words always break hearts and I am living proof it is true.
What if I told you that I can’t take this anymore?
All the words we’ve said have left me wanting no more.
I can’t really say what it was that made me fold.
What I can say is I can finally leave the fold without you.
This is me telling you I can’t take this anymore.
This is me telling you the words we’ve said has taken a part of me.
Before you bother to ask it was the part of me that cared.
This is me telling you that I am through.
I no longer believe you lies I can only see the truth.
I can’t take this anymore I am through.
