What Is The World Really?

The world is the frigid air after a hot shower
The burning summer sun waiting to get your skin
The sharp thorns carefully aligned on a rose's stem
The hard, rigid ground roughly catching you

The world is the sweet juice of a fresh strawberry
The cold water on hot lips
The excitement of receiving a surprise
The warmth of a mothers hug

The world holds you in its arms
As it speeds down the curvy road
As it slides down the yellow slide at the park
Guiding you through life
