What Lies Beneath


What lies beneath,
We may never know,
Of a magical monster afraid to show.
They swim in the deep,
Never to peek
At the world they are soon to know.
With the head of a human
And the tail of a fish,
This magical creature lies below.
Told by a man,
From centuries ago.
Their beauty's amazing,
Their sirens are deadly.
This magical monster lies below.
