What Today Might Bring

The sun rises on this day just like every other
But this day will end with brother against brother
Our battle may be digital, nuclear, or on fields
But it leaves all wondering what today might yield
Thousands are killed, millions left injured
Concentration Camp Occupants grow thinner and thinner
There are little remains of the once green grass
The soldiers destroyed it with fire and gas
A woman left homeless, and child becomes orphan
All over the world people limit their portions
Yes this day left brother turned against brother
And the sun sets on this day just like every other
