Whatelse Can Sunrise Do

crisp ginger, fresh blood stains
against the darkened sky
a stone that breaks night's panes
showers bits in my eye

frozen in that moment's yin
light leaks on earth's slumber
fondles a virgin's skin
hoping to beguile her

using a chilled whisper
to creep across her breasts
night's fib flows like water
down her infertile crests

an infant's primal cry
reemerges silver dew
nestled in morning's try
what else can sunrise do?
