What’s in the Tree

What do I see in the tree?
Is it a bird, a plane, or maybe a cow,
I cannot tell what I see!
Is it quiet or is it loud?
Does it tweet, roar, or moo?
Maybe it says cockle-doodle-doo!
With the leaves blowing in the howling wind,
I decide to see what is in that tree!
My anxiety will never come to an end
Until I find out what it could be!
Magically, the wind stands still.
I strain to see,
And I hope it's a twenty-dollar bill!
The breeze floats the object towards me.
The moment of truth is here!
What could it be?
It's a stick!
Wow, I've been tricked!
