What’s Left

When all we have left are the pictures
The tears on edges of our eyes
To see one fall who stood so strong
Rips the heart inside
When all we can hear is his voice
Feel his presence wherever we go
Know that he is watching
And would cringe at all this sorrow
When all we can do is remember
Know our memory of him will remain
That he is apart of us all
Whether we knew him or not, we feel pain
When all we can hope is that things get better
To believe he's in a better place
That God will take care of the angel
Who touched so many in his stay
When all we have left are the pictures
We look, and remember, and laugh
To see all the wonder in his eyes
The spark that will forever last
