When A Life is Gone
As a new day over the horizon arrives
We are reminded we are just on borrowed lives
Ungrateful to so many people we love
Until sadly they are taken to the above
I cry not for the death of just one
But for fear of the loneliness that has begun
More so however my heart is broken
For all of the things left unspoken
When given the chance I let it pass by
Now they're gone and all I do is cry
Towards the end of giving so so much
Remind them of your love, appreciation and such
Do not take for granted those whom you cherish
Because in life we all eventually too shall perish
We are reminded we are just on borrowed lives
Ungrateful to so many people we love
Until sadly they are taken to the above
I cry not for the death of just one
But for fear of the loneliness that has begun
More so however my heart is broken
For all of the things left unspoken
When given the chance I let it pass by
Now they're gone and all I do is cry
Towards the end of giving so so much
Remind them of your love, appreciation and such
Do not take for granted those whom you cherish
Because in life we all eventually too shall perish
