When God Made You

When God made you, He took the grandeur of a mountain,
The endurance of a tree,
The calmness before a storm,
The beauty of a white rose,
The noble characteristics of Joan of Arc,
The faith of Mother Teresa,
The heart of a champion,
The warmth and affection of our Father in Heaven,
The brightness and cheerfulness of the warm, summer sun,
The ability to comfort me with two loving arms,
The rejoicing awakening of a spring morning,
The patience of a saint.
As God combined all these wonderful qualities,
He came to see there was nothing more He could add.
This masterpiece was then molded into woman-
And, this delightful and loving woman became my mom.
