When I call Your Name

When I am lost and cannot see,
When darkness takes the light from me,
I close my eyes and start to pray,
And ask You, God, to guide my way.

When every road feels cold and long,
You give my heart the strength to carry on.
When tears fall down and hope feels gone,
You whisper softly, “Child, move on.”

I may not know what waits ahead,
Or understand the words You’ve said,
But I will trust the path You’ve shown,
For even in the dark, I’m not alone.

When I am weak, You make me strong,
When I am lost, You lead me home.
And when my final breath is through,
I pray my soul will rest with You.

So through the joy, the pain, the fear,
I’ll hold on knowing You are near.
And every time I call Your name,
My heart finds peace, my soul finds flame.
