When I Get to Heaven

When I get to Heaven,
My child will run to me,
He'll wrap his arms around my neck,
And finally call me Mommy.
When I get to Heaven,
He will show me all the sights,
He will tell me all his dreams,
He will show me all the pretty things,
He will again call me Mommy.
When I get to Heaven,
He can tell me all he has seen,
He can tell me all he has done,
We can laugh and play the day away,
And he can call me Mommy.
But until I get to Heaven,
Where my child waits for me,
I shall work real hard to make him proud,
To call me his mommy.
