When I Lost Your Image

When we met the day of the first moon,
I promised myself not to fall in love,
for when I do I know that I'll never let you go.
Your chin, so perfect and strong,
eyes color of the silkiest of chocolate,
for I can only image your arms around my waist.

Love is the only word that I can use to describe my feelings for you,
the connection, like a lightning bolt, a shock,
fireorks that i felt inside my soul overcame me as i fell for you.

the only person that I look forward to seeing,
the only perosn I'd cry for if you left me behind.

for I,
soulmate of you my dear,
will dread the day you say goodbye.

The day I lost your image,
I vowed to never fall in love,
for I knew,
I'd see you again.
